SOAMES STUDIO WAS FOUNDED BY HARRY SOAMES, A PORTRAIT AND FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER.

Having studied at London School of Photography, Harry went onto work with Mario Testino for two and a half years. Whilst working within Mario’s production team, Harry’s love of fashion and portraiture photography excelled, leading to the conception of Soames Studio.

Harry is known for bringing his subject to life through a lens. Whether it’s an individual portrait, a family, or a fashion campaign – he aligns his two passions; meaningful imagery and capturing the essence of his subject within a single photograph. Soames’ images have featured in publications such as Tatler, Desire Homme and Country Life and has worked on campaigns including but not limited to Madeleine Thompson Cashmere, Oliver Brown, Huntsman, Taylor Morris Eyewear and Tephi.

Soames Studio is based in London, where Harry lives with his wife, Moon.

Testimonials

“Harry was a joy to work with. Having a photo taken is a bit nerve wracking but Harry put me at ease with his charming nature. As a result, he made a lovely portrait.”

“It was an absolute joy to work with Harry! He is such a professional and so wonderfully receptive to ideas and creative input that it really felt like a team effort. In that very niche ecosystem of a photo shoot it’s very special to work with a man who treats everyone with respect and has unending enthusiasm and of course, produces beautiful photos. I can’t wait to work with him again!”

“Harry worked for me/Oliver Brown for 5 years from 2014 – 2019. Harry is a wonderful photographer to work with and extremely professional. Brilliantly creative in many ways. It is amazing how his photos capture such detail – they really showed off our brand and setup. The lighting is absolutely perfect in every single photo. I’m still so amazed by the care and quality of his work.”

Kristian Robson
(Owner, Oliver Brown)

“Harry was such fun to work with, had everyone in stitches and really captured an energy you don’t find in a lot of portraits. We loved the process and were delighted with the outcome. No one better for the job than Harry Soames”
